 About Our Club...

HSSC meetings are scheduled quarterly throughout the year.  The club's annual awards banquet is held in
December or January.  In late summer, the club holds its annual member picnic.  We hold our annual AKC Designated Specialty Breed Show in August in Harrisburg PA, and our AKC Sheltie Specialty
Obedience/Rally combined trial is held in November.  We also hold two AKC agility trials, as well as
various workshops in herding, agility, trick dog, nose work, tracking, grooming, and more!  We are a smaller
club, but we sure are active!  We love what we do, and we LOVE our SHELTIES!

Our club members are individually active in all areas of showing, in both the breed and performance rings. The
experience of our members is of great help to anyone interested in learning more about shelties. As club
members we all try to help each other to become better dog owners and diligent keepers of the breed standard.
